Description: This tool is for top adjust type carbs with the raised blade adjusting screw used from 1977. After removal of the damper unit from the carburetter top, the tool is inserted into the damper reservoir. The head of the tool locates onto the raised blade, whilst the outer barrel locks into the the air valve guide slot. Rotating the allen key clockwise will lower the needle to weken the mixture, rotating it anti-clockwise will raise the needle and richen the mixture. The location of the outer barrel is important in order to prevent the air valve from rotating whilst the adjustment is being carried out, otherwise the main diaphragm may be damaged.
