Gerry Wright - Delivery Driver

I was born in East London but have lived in Hazlemere for the past twenty three years.

After leaving the Army (National Service) I worked in the motor trade. I worked at Brown Brothers in their garage equipment department for four years and then did two years with Mintex. However, my main career was with "Ever Ready" firstly as a salesman and later as district sales manager. I was with EverReady for a total of 29 years.

When redundant four years ago I joined Dingocroft as a delivery driver also doing some stores work. As we are a small (but dynamic - Ed.) firm we all have to work with each other and help out when others are on holiday or off sick.

Outside work my interests are football and military history. I also like driving in the country.
