Mixture Adjusting Tool for CD175 Carburetter Ref: ZZB20379
Application: Range Rover Classic.
Description: This tool is for top adjust type carbs with the "Allen" key adjusting screw. After removal of the damper unit from the carburetter top, the tool is inserted into the damper reservoir. The central allen key locates in a socket in the reservoir base, whilst the outer barrel locks into the the air valve guide slot. Rotating the allen key clockwise will lower the needle to weken the mixture, rotating it anti-clockwise will raise the needle and richen the mixture. The location of the outer barrel is important in order to prevent the air valve from rootating whilst the adjustment is being carried out, otherwise the main diaphragm may be damaged.
